Are you a person that likes projects? Feeling crafty? This kit gives you the opportunity to build your own 1X15 open back cabinet.
The kit includes:
6 pieces of 3/4" Baltic Birch (these pieces are the panels that make the cabinet box)
grill frame wood pieces,
grill cloth of your choice,
tolex of your choice,
8 corners in black or chrome,
a rubber strap handle with black or chrome caps,
jackplate with 1/4 inch jack,
speaker wire,
screws to fasten the hardware.
Assembly is simple. Apply wood glue in the dado joints and put the pieces together, then secure with a nail gun. Sand and cover with tolex. Use a spray adhesive or similar that bonds wood and vinyl. Then add your hardware and assemble the grill. Note that the grill does not come assembled nor does the kit include glue or nails.
Dimensions of finished cabinet are 18" high x 14" deep x 18" wide and weighs 25 pounds.
