Are you a person that likes projects? Feeling crafty? This kit gives you the opportunity to build your own 2x10 open back cabinet.
The kit includes:
6 pieces of 3/4" Baltic Birch (these pieces are the panels that make the cabinet box),
grill frame wood pieces,
grill cloth of your choice,
tolex of your choice,
8 corners in black or chrome,
a rubber strap handle with black or chrome caps,
jackplate with two 1/4 inch jacks,
speaker wire,
screws to fasten the hardware.
Assembly is simple. Apply wood glue in the dado joints and put the pieces together, then secure with a nail gun. Sand and cover with tolex. Then add your hardware and assemble the grill. Note that the grill does not come assembled nor does the kit include glue or nails.
Dimensions of finished cabinet are 15" high x 11" deep x 27" wide and weighs 30 pounds.
